Elon Musk's child plans to change name, cut ties with magnate dad, reports say

(KTLA) - One of Elon Musk's children has expressed a desire to change her name and sever ties to her billionaire father.

Musk's child, who was formerly known as 18-year-old Xavier Alexander Musk, said in a Los Angeles County Superior Court filing she is also changing her gender identity from male to female, Reuters reports.

The April filing came one day after the teenager turned 18, reported the Los Angeles Times, which identified Musk's child as Vivian Jenna Wilson.

Now a legal adult, Wilson said she no longer wants anything to do with her businessman dad, who heads Tesla, SpaceX and potentially Twitter.

"I no longer live with or wish to be related to my biological father in any way, shape or form," Wilson said in the filing.

Musk has seven children, two with the musician Grimes and five with Wilson's mother, the writer Justine Wilson, the Times reported. He and Wilson also lost a 10-week-old son to sudden infant death syndrome, Yahoo reported.

Musk, a frequent Twitter user, has not publicly addressed Wilson's decision, though he did acknowledge Father's Day on Sunday.

"I love all my kids so much," he tweeted.

Tom Flores elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame, reports say

TAMPA, Florida. (KGPE) — ESPN reports Tom Flores is on his way to Canton to be inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame. 

The announcement will become official Saturday night, the day before Super Bowl 55, during NFL Honors. 

Flores, 83, will be elected as the only coaching finalist on the ballot for the class of 2021.

Tom Flores was the first Hispanic head coach to win the Super Bowl. A two-time Super Bowl-winning coach with the Raiders, Flores is one of only two men in NFL history to win a Super Bowl as a player, an assistant coach and as a head coach.

Nicknamed "The Iceman," Flores is a native of Sanger and a 1954 graduate of Sanger High School.

Olympic gold medalist seen in crowd at Capitol storming, reports say

(NEXSTAR) - Two-time Olympic gold medalist Klete Keller has been identified in the crowd at the storming of the U.S. Capitol, according to multiple reports.

Swimming news site SwimSam first reported Keller's appearance at the Capitol on Monday.

Video of the insurrection appears to show a bearded, 6-foot-6-inch Keller inside the Capitol building Wednesday. He appears to be wearing an Olympic team jacket with "USA" printed on the back and sleeves.

According to the New York Times, several former teammates and coaches recognized Keller in the footage, and few were surprised by his presence at the riot. His now-deleted social media accounts included pro-Trump messages.

The 38-year-old medaled in the 2000, 2004 and 2008 Summer Olympics in the 400-meter freestyle and the 4x200-meter freestyle relay. He was a teammate of Olympian Michael Phelps.

In a 2014 interview with NBC Sports, Keller said he regretted "being so focused on swimming."

"I should have put a lot more time into thinking about careers and what I was doing after swimming," he said.

"You get done, and you're like, 'Oh God, what do you do know?"

He said he held some "bitterness" toward himself and toward the sport.

The FBI is asking for the public’s help as it continues to investigate the people involved in Wednesday’s violent breach at the U.S. Capitol.  

On Twitter, The Washington Field Office said it is seeking information to “assist in identifying individuals who are actively instigating violence in Washington, DC.”

The agency is urging people who saw unlawful activity during the violent protests to submit information to them. The FBI has provided an online tips form.

Bobby Brown Jr. has died at 28, reports say

(NEXSTAR) – Bobby Brown Jr., the son of singer-songwriter Bobby Brown, has died at the age of 28, according to multiple reports.

He was found dead at a home in Los Angeles Wednesday, police confirmed to PEOPLE.

Bobby Brown's oldest son, Landon Brown, posted on Instagram Wednesday evening: "I love you forever King."

Bobby Jr. appeared to be following a musical path like his father, judging from his Instagram account.

TMZ first reported the news, citing a source close to the family who said foul play was not suspected.

Bobby Jr.'s death comes more than five years after the death of half-sister Bobbi Kristina Brown. She was found face-down and unresponsive in a bathtub in January 2015 in a suburban Atlanta townhome. After months in a coma, she died in hospice care July 26.

Brown lost Whitney Houston, his wife and Bobby Kristina's mother, three years earlier under similar circumstances. The legendary singer was found dead at a Beverly Hills, California hotel submerged in a bathtub.

Bobbi Kristina Brown's body was transported to New Jersey to be buried next to her mother's at a cemetery in Westfield.

Bobby Jr. was born to Kim Ward, who Bobby Brown was seeing before he married Whitney Houston in July, 1992. He is survived by his sister, La'Princia, as well as his half-siblings Landon, Cassius, Hendrix and Bodhi Brown.
