SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. (KRON) -- The California Highway Patrol said a dozen people died and 315 DUI arrests were made during its Thanksgiving Maximum Enforcement period.
CHP says the numbers are above last year's data at this time.
Officials are reminding motorists to drive safely and buckle up. They say four of the 12 people who died were not wearing seat belts.
