(KRON) - Mount Diablo Unified School District is in danger of losing $28-million in funding because of declining enrollment.
The district revealed the financial situation, along with some recommendations to address the declining enrollment and its budget impacts.
Those recommendations include:
- Explore cost saving practices such as combining and collapsing classes
- Layoff timelines
- Examining overtime policies
