4.4-magnitude earthquake felt in Bay Area

(KRON) -- A 4.4-magnitude earthquake struck in the East Bay mountains Monday night. The earthquake could be felt from as far as San Francisco.

According to the United States Geological Survey's website, the epicenter of the quake is about nine miles southwest of Westley, CA. It is just west of Interstate 5 in Stanislaus County.
