SANTA CRUZ COUNTY, Calif. (KRON) -- Police activity was reported Saturday afternoon on Highway 17 south of the Santa Cruz Mountains, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Highway 17 is closed in both directions from Summit Road to Sugarloaf Road.
It's unknown when the road will reopen.
