OAKLAND, Calif. (KRON) -- A teenage girl was shot and killed early Thursday morning in Oakland, according to the Oakland Police Officer's Association.
She was in the passenger seat of a car driving in the 5000 block of Bancroft Ave when an unknown person fired into the car, according to the police union.
Her death marks the city's 109th homicide of the year.
