SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) -- Gov. Gavin Newsom will be in the Bay Area on Friday morning to make a "major announcement" at a middle school.
Most California school districts report they have 95-100% of their students back to learning in-person, the governor's office said.
His 10 a.m. announcement will come with highlighting the state’s ongoing work to protect students and school employees.
