SAN JOSE (BCN) - An on-duty San Jose police officer was injured Friday morning after being hit by a car.
The officer was hit outside his marked patrol vehicle, according to the San Jose Police Department.
The incident happened around 12:39 a.m. near Suncrest Avenue and Perie Lane.
Police said the officer suffered injuries not considered life-threatening.
A suspect is in custody.
