Fairfield police deliver Mother's Day flowers after driver arrested for DUI

FAIRFIELD, Calif. (KRON) -- Ever received flowers... from a police officer?

Some Bay Area moms did on Sunday, after Fairfield police say a flower delivery driver was arrested for driving under the influence.

The delivery driver was reportedly involved in a collision and then arrested.

So, Fairfield police took matters into their own hands. The officers finished the remaining flower deliveries.
