Police: Keep pets, children inside following 'large animal' sighting in Dublin

DUBLIN, Calif. (KRON) -- Police are warning the community following the report of a "large animal" in a Dublin neighborhood.

The large animal, believed to be either a coyote or mountain lion, was seen in the area of Tassaja Road and Fallon Road.

Dublin police advise caution and to keep pets and children inside.

Dublin Police recently received a report of a large animal (coyote or mountain lion) in the vicinity of Tassajara Road and Fallon Road. If you see it, please do not approach it and call Dublin Police (462-1212). Be cautious and keep pets and children indoors.

Officials are reminding the public who come across the animal to not approach it and call police.
