WALNUT CREEK, Calif. (KRON) - A Walnut Creek native is now a Sports Illustrated swimsuit model.
Ella Halikas has spent the last several years building an online community with the goal of spreading body positivity, confidence, and inclusivity.
She's now Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Rookie of the Year. In a KRON4 exclusive interview, she shares what it took to achieve her dream.
"I think it was being consistent and showing others that you can be confident in a bikini like in my size just had such a huge impact on so many people."
