By Bay City News - A person died late Saturday night after being struck by a vehicle in the 8000 block of Byron Highway in the community of Knightsen in east Contra Costa County, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The CHP responded to an 11:14 p.m. report of a vehicle colliding with a pedestrian and spoke with several witnesses at the scene.
